Your letters. Your own language.
A typeface can begin with a sketch, a familiar shape, or a happy accident. AlphaBeta Studio makes it possible to take that first mark all the way to a real, installable font in your browser.
Open the studioMeet AlphaBeta.
Start with a shape
Draw or import SVG and PNG glyphs, choose a language template, or fill a character set from a donor font.
Find its character
Edit Bézier anchors, curves, spacing, and proportions. Explore jitter, roughen, inflate, and other distortions with a live specimen.
Take it into the world
Export OTF, TTF, or WOFF2 fonts. Save portable .alphabeta.json projects or publish a shared specimen to the community gallery.

A few helpful details.
Who it’s for
Designers, typography enthusiasts, and agents creating portable font projects for people to refine.
Getting started
Free and open source. No account required for local editing. Projects autosave to browser storage and can be exported as portable files.
Your data
Editing and font export happen locally. Publishing a short share link uploads a compressed project to server storage and makes it available through its shared page and gallery.
Good to know.
- Language presets are starting character sets, not complete coverage of every script. Imported projects can define arbitrary Unicode codepoints.
- There is no server-side font-editing API; agents can generate project files for import. A separate sharing API is documented.
- Clearing browser storage removes local projects unless you have exported a backup.
